MUSIC for PEACE

In a world full of strife, we who enjoy the blessings of peace can join together to bring comfort and hope to those afflicted by war. MUSIC for PEACE began in response to the conflict in Ukraine. It continues now in support of those suffering from the unending conflict in South Sudan. Our goal is to reach out and provide succor to the victims through support of those who are right beside them giving aid. We strive to learn more about their needs, so that we may give what truly helps. Amid the seemingly overwhelming tragedy, we find warmth and strength in our bonds with one another, both near and far.

The New Haven Connecticut Ukrainian American Humanitarian Relief Aid Fund The moving artwork displayed at the February 8th event comes through this organization. The recent exhibitions and sale of these powerful works has raised $35,000. An Honor Coach was purchased which transports the fallen soldiers in Ukraine to their final rest. They are currently raising funds to help bring portable power sources to the large area of Ukraine that have gone dark. Please follow them on Facebook.

Reverend Abuna Paul Lueth Kat directs Transformation of the World in Christ in Warrap State, South Sudan. Their diligent humanitarian work includes drilling wells, providing food, medical assistance and ambulance service.
